Drag forks

This ancient pattern fork goes by various names around the country such as crome, manure drag, muck drag, drag fork and so on! They were and still are designed for dragging manure off the back of trailers and carts and then spreading it over the soil. They are also good for mucking out, general soil preparation, light cultivating, pulling out weeds and their roots, removing blanket weed from ponds, removing cut plant material from stream and ditch banks, pulling (carefully!) down fruit tree branches to reach the fruit. If I think of anything else I'll write it here! I recently used mine in the Spring for uprooting water lily rhizomes from the bottom of a large pond to divide them and it worked a treat! The photos include a tape measure to give you the dimensions and overall length of the item.
